The end of the year was interesting as always, not particularly cold but we did have spells of rain where the River Stour burst it’s banks, also some grey days but I still managed to get some interesting images.
A few mornings on Hambledon Hill resulted in some interesting sunrises especially when the fog moved from the Blackmore Vale and enveloped the hill in a short while.
The floods are along the Stour near Hanford and Shillingstone.
Some wildlife pictures a real highlight for me was the weasel watching us down by Shillingstone station, how I managed to get an image I’ll never know I was so excited. A Bluetit and Robin coming to our feeders always a pleasure to see.
The Stone circle always attracts me and the fields near looking towards Spread Eagle Hill are always worth a picture.
In November I took a trip to Stourhead for the autumn colours, images on my Photo Blog – Stourhead Autumn
Also a walk in Norton Woods near Durweston for the colours once again – Autumn, Norton Wood
In December I went on to Bath on a workshop on a very wet day – A Walk round Bath Workshop
For a final trip out I went on a workshop to the Jurassic coast – Photo Blog link to follow.
